when i run SGSClient.jar the JRE complains it canot find main-class mainfest attribute form
i am using JDK 1.6.0 on windows XP SP2

SGSClient.jar is an API.

It does not contain an executable

oh sory i thorught it was an API and excutable like the SGSServer

Nope, its just the API, See the API docs.

In the exampels directory are client executeables for the various examples

So your cwd should be release/server to run the server as deployed in the SDk
