I have had a server running non-stop since Oct 12 and it has run beautifully. Have not hasd a lot of traffice, but 2-3 of us from work hit is everyday and my kids pla on it constatnly at home.

got up to over 100 points. the computer doesn’t do straving though, or shields. anyways the only bug that I found was wenn I pressed enter after I insert the username tab was need no problem but after it failed the first time it wouldn’t work after that. restarting and doing it correctly the first time made it work just fine.
You could log the chat sessions. I wrote a couple of lines but most likely I was talking to /dev/null
SInce you’re doing collision detection with the particles and walls anyway, I think you might as well do it with the enemy ship vs player ship also. Kinda freaky to fly right through it :o

lightbringer, yeah, might as well do collision between player and enemy, Just not sure what the result should be? Bounce off, just not go thru, destroy both? Yeah, think I could log chat or case my server screen to flash buttons when a user is active.
Think I will add some more baddies as well.

Well, seeing as it’s pretty easy to get killed in this game, destroying both seems like a good option. =D
I knew that part it’s just that the computer doesn’t use it. or was that a player I totally trashed? I though it was a bot.
You are right, the bot doesnt strafe or shield, though I will add that. muhahahaha… sorry, watching cartoons today.
In case you wanted to know…still up! Not sure if my router still has the right internal IP, but still up and we are playing locally.

Yeah, getting 404 Error, but the IP address alone works. Sadly, the username and password given to us do not work at the login page that brigs you to.
sorry, been a way for a while and have a new router. Give me a day or two to get back online. Unless I decide to update to 0.91 then may be a little longer.
