Selective plugin blocking.

Is it possible to get a popup before allowing flash on a webpage.

Most sites I go to use flash for advertising and it loads a movie add, when all I want to do is read the page. Is it possible to make a plugin ask for temporary access with a popup dialog instead of being either off/on.

Runnign Windows7, got all the main browsers installed IE9, Opera, FF, Chrome.

AFAIK NoScript only starts flash content (or any other plugins) when you click on them to activate.

Or if you dont want to block everything use a ad blocker plugin. Most browsers have a plugin for that.

sweet. installed NoScript on firefox.

Thankx guys

NoScript is nice but a bit over kill for some users, I find FlashBlock to be nicer for the less technically skilled.

Click2Flash is the plugin to use on Safari. Works great.
