Selection Criteria for Mobile Multiplayer Games

I am student from Venezuela and I am developing a multiplayer game for cell phones using JXTA as comunication protocol on a CDMA network. I need the opinion of game developers or any developer to give value to 9 selection criteria for the game. The scale is 1 to 5, where 5 is the max. Use the parethesis to put the value or just send the answers with the number of the criterion number.

  1. Public acceptance ( )

This is a very important factor for the later commercialization of the game.

  1. Required capacity of processing( )

Due to cell phones limitations, game requirements must be according to phone characteristics.

  1. Required color and screen size( )

Along with the equipment variety that exist in the market and the differences between them, like screen size, the amount of color, etc; the requirements of the game in this aspect must be within the average capabilities of the cellular phones.

  1. Requirement of colors( )

Selected game must be easy and comfortable to play, due to cell phone’s limitations compared to a computer keyboard or a game console.

  1. Level of interaction between the users( )

Any cell phone that requires a lot of data transmission causes slow performance playing the game, using the CDMA network.

  1. Development time( )

Estimated time to develop the game.

  1. Transmission speed requirement( )

Minimum transmission speed for the game, when it interacts between users.

  1. Innovation( )

The selected game must be new in cell phones games market. This will give advantages for marketing.

  1. Number of Users( )

Games must permit 2 players at least, this will be used for academic purposes.

Thank you very much!! ,

Don’t tell Rockstar games  (makers of GTA)

It is more important for mobile games if you are planning on co-marketing or distributing it through an operator though.
