Could we have a global rules thread somewhere… there are a couple of things that people just assume you should be doing on this forum:
- Don’t cross post
- Use [ code ] blocks where appropriate
- Search google before you ask
- Search the forum before you ask
There are others, but I can’t think of them. I’d like to suggest :-
- Use smileys sparingly, makes posts very hard to read if there are a stream of smileys after every line
I know most people here just abide by sensible code of conduct but what with the influx of people we seem to be getting it might be useful to post a set somewhere.
Apologies if there is a rules post somewhere and I haven’t seen it, remembered it, looked for it.
