RSS Feed

I still have about 15-20 different IPs accessing the old RSS feed I wrote back in the day. Just thought I would let you know that feed was broken by the new forum upgrade… so those posts are like a month old.

But most importantly, that same feed is built into the forum anyway:

http://www.java-gaming.org/index.php?type=rss;action=.xml;limit=50

So I’m removing my old RSS feed script, so those 15ish individuals can stop hogging my oh so precious bandwidth … :stuck_out_tongue:

On a side note, admins, is there a way you can edit that RSS feed? Kind of annoying that feed doesn’t show the author of the post…

Couldn’t you have used a redirection directive instead?

Actually if there’s no way to make SMF show the author of the post, I’m going to update my old code to operate with the new forum…

Also I’m not a fan of the truncuation on SMF’s feed, hopefully there’s some special parameter to get rid of that too?
