Royality free music for games?

Hi,

I’m wondering if there’s royality free music that I could use in my future commercial game? If yes, could you give me good websites?

There are a lot of pages, claiming that their music is “royalty free” (you misspelled it), but in most cases the devil is in the detail. To be exactly… it’s usually the EULA which renders the whole thing unusable for games.

So, take your time and read it… carefully.

I just ran into this site the other day, though I haven’t used any of their stuff personally. Perhaps someone here has an informed comment to make about them?

partners in rhyme has about 8 or 10 free royalty free tracks and then a few cd’s full of stuff that you can buy that’s royalty free. I haven’t purchsed a cd from them though but that’s probably where I would go.

I actually bought 15 or so sounds from soundrangers.com last night. Not sure what you’d want to know about them, but I can say that I found sounds I liked and I was able to pay for them and download immediately after. You can hear samples on their webpage but the quality is greatly reduced, if you want to hear some actual sounds I’ll be posting my game in a second (still not ‘full’ quality, but they are pretty high quality oggs).
