I want to remake Super Mario Bros from NES or from Super Mario All Star (SNES), but it´s hard to find out tiles, background, sounds and others resources from net. What is a good resource site for this game kind?

I know this is an old post but. I just found out about this site so to me it’s new . 
I have been working on a platform game (graphics only). If you are interested with can work in this project together. Is not exacly mario; But I think it will be fun to make.
I have some images of the characters in here. Check them out and let me know what you think. I have most of the tiles for the first set of levels (waffles and Jelly). The game suppose to be for kids and female casual players. That’s why it’s girlish.
I was working on a multiplayer mario game, got kinda far but I kind of got bored of it since my heart was somewhere else. If you want to check it out let me know and I’ll up the source code or a demo of what I got.
