Puzzle Game: Magnetar

Hey everyone! I just wrote a small puzzle game called “Magnetar”. The game aims to challenge your organizing skills.

The game is written in Java. It can be downloaded at
https://sourceforge.net/projects/magnetar/ (.jar file, and source code)
and
https://github.com/ozooxo/Magnetar .

The game will give you several magnets which stay randomly in the screen, and your task is to move everybody to the gray region in the center of your screen. In the beginning, you can move only one magnet; however, when the north pole and the south pole of two separate magnets are next to each other, the two magnets will be conjoined together, so you are capable move more. You can also use the magnet you can move to push other magnets.

I added some screenshots so you can know roughly what this game is about.

Any comments and suggestions are welcomed. Thanks a lot.

I know this has nothing to do with your project, which by the way looks really nice :), but what linux is that?

Its not a Linux, its a theme for Linux :stuck_out_tongue: A Linux distro just has different frameworks, you can install any desktop manager and theme you like.

Well of course, but I just wanted to get a view on what people that develop use mostly. I’m a little tired of Ubuntu and am thinking of installing Cent maybe for the lols

Erm its not going to change that much. You’ll just lose the Ubuntu store and the default desktop manager. If you want a new look, just search for one. I understand its fun messing around I just don’t understand the point if you just want a new look!

If you want the most customization, get Arch.

(Personally, I use KDE as a desktop environment)

I feel really sorry to tell you, but it IS ubuntu. The theme’s name is Radiance (one of the three default choices of ubuntu 13.04). I am fine with ubuntu, although I don’t like its apple-ish buttons.
