I’m prototyping up ideas on the odd weekend of Legends of Yore at the moment. The latest is a sort of tower defense game where you place monsters to defend your treasure and dungeon from heroes attacking (like the great Dungeon Keeper). As normal I’m trying to boil it down a bit and make it a bit more casual and mobile oriented.
I didn’t get too far since I didn’t get much time (My little Meg’s 5th birthday this weekend!) but I have enough to show and I’d appreciated as always any thoughts/comments on whats there so far.
Not sure I’m going to use it as my next game yet, but it’s definitely on the possibles list.

It’s real time but ticking in the background. At the moment you can only place melee monsters and heroes only melee but I’ve plans for traps, heavy doors, ranged and magic creatures and long with anything else I can put in. Also considering adding an armory which if the heroes reach they upgrade (so you’d have to defend that too).
Any feedback appreciated!
Cheers,
Kev
PS. If you’re interested here’s the design I did friday night before starting the prototype http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1668516/shots/TouchDefence/design1.png
