A TiVo HME adaptation of the classic xmahjongg solitaire game.
+1
As there are no NO votes, I am holding this project voer for one mreo week to try to gather the requisite 2 more yes votes.
What’s a “TiVo HME adaptation” and what stands “xmahjongg” for? All I know is that it has something to do with solitaire…
A few more infos would be nice
I’m guessing TiVo is the harddrive based VCR set-top-box thingy they have in some countries.
VCR? Video Cassette Recorder? What has that to do with Solitaire?
TivOis a leading brand of PVR (Personal Video Recorder. A hard disk based device for recording and playback of TV.)
TiVO has a Java API they’ve released. Thats all I know about it,.
For more the project-prosposer will have to weigh in.
HME is actually a realtively interesting API. The logic takes place for the most part of the server (in this case TV server) and the API allows the developer to request visual updates down at the client end. They ran a competition not too long ago.
Definitely +1 from a uniqueness POV.

I see 2 yes votes and no negative votes so I am holding this over for another week to garner its last needed yes.
Although I don’t have a TiVo HME VCR HD XYZ whatever, I vote “yes”. Sounds like an interesting project after all.
I even don’t have an analog VCR. We must program games, not watch TV
That’s the right attitude !!
sounds interesting - even if I don’t know how useful it will be, but I think it will help future development of games on vcr. Geez - we’ve got Java for mobile phones, VCR… - what’s next? microwaves?

I agree with you guys! It sounds interesting and new!
I would give it a try! +1
Well, I have to admit im pleased. I avoided politicing because I didnt think it was appropriate of me to do so, but I think a TiVO project is a great additrion to our codebase.
So Im pleased to annoucne this has passed and will be moved to an active project today.
Project is now available in games-forge
