I was thinking if there was some kind of programmer, gamer, or computer station that you could listen to for all your nerdy needs. I actually might create one if there aren’t any good ones . So is there any stations related to this you would recommend .
What would they play? Do programmers have a set music preference?
Everything depends just on your music taste, I would say that listening to music while programming is usually a distraction though.
I was thinking he meant more of a talk show but those are known for being notoriously boring

That brings up a good point. (commence threadjacking) How many of you listen to stuff while programming?
The only time I do is to tune out conversations, and then it’s usually somewhat boring electronic music(If I like the music too much or it has vocals it’s super distracting).
I try to program in silence, which is difficult with kids and dogs and cats … But strangely I tend have eureka moments at work where everything is rather chaotic. Guess my subconscious carries on without me 
I can program for longer periods of time if I have music going on.
However, music with lyrics tend to carry away my thoughts and be rather a distraction so I usually listen to chillstep/dnb with minimal vocal while coding.

Exactly what I meant, but to make it interesting, add tech reviews and such.
