Programmer needed-Turn Based Strategy Game

Greetings!

We are currently finalizing licensing a PC/Mac turn based strategy game. the C++ code is available to review. However, it might make sense to just keep art and sound, scrap code, and begin programming from scratch. The game features single and multiplayer. We would prefer to divide these up into two games.

The game itself is a Mac cult classic, with a great story, great art and great sound.

We are looking for a self-motivated programmer to begin immediately with development. This programmer will have immediate support from an artist and sound engineer. Also, a localization team will be available for translation to select languages.

This project has a limited budget. However, there is potential, with such a great title and broad release, for some payment, great experiece, and potential to do additional titles.

It would probably help people if you were to estimate the pay and/or timeframe. Most people will be priced out based on that alone, so it would save their time and yours to be up-front about this.

Pay would be from $3k-$5k depending on experience (Paymentts to be made at signing, agreed upon milestones, and completion). Depending on the final work involved, interest in additional project, etc… a royalty option could be negotiated.

As for timeline, I would guesstimate the project to be about 2-3 months.

I’m interested, however I have no multiplayer coding experience :stuck_out_tongue: I could learn for sure, but it would be a slowdown on me most likely.
