Post your video game setup here!

Let’s see where you game! Post pics of your gaming setup here. Mine is a repost from my blog:

In one corner of my office, I have a Vectrex and VirtualBoy at the right height to roll up and play from my office chair. R2 stands guard.

On the other side of my office is my work/play system. Dual monitors, Athlon 4000+ rig, etc. Notice my Xbox there, connected to the PC’s video card.

And on another wall in my office we have ‘The Shrine’. The arcade cabinet is one that I built and plays the Williams Arcade collection as well as the HanaHo Capcom collection. Systems on display and connected to the switchbox on the small TV (except for the handhelds of course)are, from the top shelf down and left to right: NES, SNES, “off market” game system purchased while in Europe, Atari 10-in-one joystick, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Genesis and 32X, NeoGeo Pocket Color, WonderSwan Color, Atari Lynx, GBA with Afterburner installed, GBA SP, Game Gear, 2 Nintendo DS’s, Atari Jaguar CD-ROM, 3DO FZ-10, Atari Jaguar, Pong system board, VIC-20, Colecovision. Most of the games are stored in the shelves and drawers of the unit.

I can also pipe the video to the arcade machine or my PC as well!

Ever wonder what you can use your old GBA boxes for? Make a ceiling border!

In my bedroom, we have the GameCube, N64 and PS1. Not shown is my wife’s DS Lite

In the family room, we have a Zenith 50" plasma. Connected to it are the Nintendo Wii, PS2 and the XBox 360.

Other systems not shown are my Atari 2600, another NES in box, Coleco Telestar Arcade and my Pole Position sit down cabinet that I refitted with a Dreamcast and steering rig.

PHEW!

Can I come round and stay on your sofa?

For a few weeks?

Cas

Why SURE Cas! So long as you agree to watch after my kids so my wife and I can go out  I have to say, that living where I do, being in button down DC, the game selection over in my house makes my guy neighbors wince  Having the Pole Position cabinet in my garage, with 4 Boston Acoustics speakers an 50w sub in the cabinet, makes them “wander” over to the driveway during the summer nights to see where the “noise” is coming from. RRROOOOOLLLLINGGGG STAAAARRRRRTTTTTT!!!

:o

Looks very nice, pretty sure you’re gonna get many requests of geeks who want to move in to your house now

drool :o

Here are a few pics of my setup. Not quite as console packed as Chris’ but I’m still at Uni so…

First pic (On the couch):
This is a picture of my meagre home entertainment setup. The only piece of game related goodness is the PS2, sadly the only console I own. Also to be seen are my “coffee table”, a small portion of my DVD collection, HL2 hat, and if you look closely a tyre pressure guage. Hard to see are all the cables snaking away from the VCR/DVD which connect to things in the next pic.

Second pic (Messy desk):
As you can see here, my desk is a little messy. Two 20" widescreen monitors and down the bottom, my pride and joy, an HD widescreen video projector for 250cm of gaming/tv/movie goodness 8). Other things to note in this shot are my home-made plush headcrab relaxing with a bit of Java coding, and a Terminator head coffee mug (Universal Studios). The MGM Grand lion can be seen in its natural habitat stalking its prey, the ever elusive Wizard Hat of Excalibur (souvenirs from a trip to Las Vegas). If you look closely just behind the two stacks of CDs near my keyboard, you can see the closest thing I have to an XBox… a little toy XBox branded motorbike game that was in a packet of cereal.

BTW, if you need to ask why I have two monitors and a video projector and no furniture… I pity you :stuck_out_tongue:

Cheers,
Brett

Nice collection :o

All my consoles are packed away. The only one hooked up right now is the WII.

In the bedroom picture, I think I see the handheld Baby Monitor game… awsome! I dont have one of those yet

i’m in infinite envy now. can’t speak

Chris got to much money and room. Totally envy you sob

May the JGO Community take a seperate room in your house to life in? ^^

Note to self: Send resume to SUN. You guys make WAY too much money.

That’s one “serious” gaming set up, mine is simply not worth photographing.
