Pokemon GO is very popular here and appears to use Google maps, GPS and the phone’s camera to catch Pokemon.
I spent the last two days playing this game around my court house. I am obsessed with the game with others. We have 3 points where we set up lures and get major pokemon. There are OP pokemon guarding the courthouse.
It uses the phone’s camera in a VR way they call AR (alternate reality). On some decides its called ‘camera.’ This game is huge in my community. We would usually see like 1-2 people rarely at our courthouse and we seen all day over 15-20 at the courthouse at once.
AR is “augmented reality”, just FYI Hydroque.
Pokemon Go is great, I can only hope they decide to actually expand upon what they have now to keep everyone interested.

Actually I would like to have a better battling system, but I doubt this will ever change.
Also I’m sad when I found out you can start with a Pikachu if you don’t decide for a starter the first few times when you started initially… 
I’ve seen many, many posts online with 4 different things. Alternate reality, Augmented reality, Camera, and VR. I didn’t even think.
Few would consider a child scribbling all over the Mona Lisa to be augmentation; just sayin’ ;D
