Another thing I’m adding that isn’t necessarily a game, but is very fun to play around with!
This is a game that uses Newtonian Physics to simulate the galaxy… it’s basically an orrery. It’s fun to shoot planets at other ones and whatnot, though. ;D

um, closing the window doesn’t appear to be terminating the game thread? (after running it I was left with a javaw process using 14% processor & 40mb)
Sorry, I’m used to a Macintosh where we’re used to that sort of thing.
I made the planets take shortcuts (linear hops) by increasing the simulation speed by 10 ;D
Maybe you could speed it up by removing the massive output in the extra window and display that info in the main screen?
I heard that one of our planets doesn’t patrol on the same ‘disc’ like all of our other planets, did you thake that into account? :persecutioncomplex:

I never realized that the outer planets are located so far away from earth. So I guess, chances to send a manned spacecraft to one of the outer planets are 0.0. (Unless some rocket scienctists invent a warp drive :P).
