Could someone please fix the permissions on the board for me. I can’t post in most of the topics, and I just came across a thread (“Worst OS ever”) where I’ve actually posted a little while ago and can no longer reply in it.

got the same problem here, can’t post in some sections like off topic, jogl, etc, I suspect its something to do with being a ‘Showcase Moderator’, since I didn’t have the problem before.
Cas, I can un-showcase moderator you, if you want. Doesn’t seem you’ve done much to that end, anyway.
EDIT: I just unchecked and rechecked permissions for Showcase Moderator, but I doubt it changed anything. I’m only allowed to change which boards are visible, and your problem definitely seems unrelated to that. Perhaps because I was the one who created Showcase Moderator the posting permissions weren’t properly set, and can’t be unless Chris fixes it. Still it seems odd that it would remove permissions regular members could get.
My permissions problems started before Showcase came along. It was back when the boards were last migrated or consolidated or something, many many months ago.

Give it a shot Cas. Some of the boards were linked to local file permissions. Your permissions should now work across all forums.
my problems are fixed too now, can once again post in the forum sections that I wasn’t able to.
