pBuffers and Linux / X11 : collaborate to develop

Hi everybody,

I have been waiting for a long time for pBuffers availability under Linux / X11. For the moment, only a part of the work is done, the render to texture isn’t implemented. I use an ATI Radeon 8500 board, and since the latest driver release, there is a new extension (ATI only) for rendering to a texture under GLX. Tired of waiting, I have modified some files and have a first version that works.

My question is : how can I collaborate to the JOGL development (at least for pBuffers) and have my (modest) work inserted in the CVS repository ?

I think you should prepare patches and post it to IssueZilla alone with some testing code as a proposed patch, so others [especially JOGL developers] can review and try them, so at least people interested can use them.

Yes, please file an RFE and post a link to the code; thanks for working on this. I noticed your developer request; please consider sending in the developer agreement, lnked to from the main games-core page.
