Hello JOGL users I only writing here to deploy the OpenGL Redbook examples from the page: http://ak.kiet.le.googlepages.com/theredbookinjava.html ported to JOGL 2.x. The examples have been made with Netbeans 6.7.1.
bienator I hope u can use this file in NetBeans project templates.

PS: You need to login in the forum to see the file. For novice users extract the .jar file with any zip decompress program.

Shouldn’t we add these demos to the jogl repository, ie jogl-redbook,
or jogl-demos jogl/demos/src/redbook ?
Can it be compiled in a standalone environment like jogl-demos ?
If so … I may go fwd and add it to jogl-demos, is that ok with you ?
License … etc ?

i did some minor modifications to be able to run the demos as applet.

Hello Sven! First of all thanks for the new releases of JOGL 2. I’m affraid the demos aren’t work for standalone application. But I think with some little modifications it could be.
I just make some little fixes to port to JOGL 2. The hard work was done by Kiet at http://ak.kiet.le.googlepages.com/theredbookinjava.html. But I think its a great idea to put the demos in the kenai project.
In my recent project I’m converting all source code of OpenGL SuperBible 4 in C to JOGL 2. I will add here in the forum when I finish. At the moment only 25% of demos are complete.
