Online card game looking for a team!

Ahoy mates, first off let me tell you that I know next to nothing about java (I hardly know anything about javascript for that matter  )
Okya, now comes the rap, I’ve made a card game that I want to make an online game for people to play!

Unfortunately I cannot pay anyone, however, there could be a fee to play the game, and that fee would go towards the coders (I’ll let you decide!).

The game is called Duality.
If you are interested in becoming part of the team, please PM me or e-mail me at admiralbarbossa@yahoo.com!

(The website is still under construction, hence the free e-mail address)

I look forward to hearing from you!

Could you put some more info on what do you want to do?
*Simple game rules
*Online game (applet) or download??
*Multiplayer options.
*etc.

The way it is described, seems ‘I have the next big game idea’ but nothing about it.
If developers don’t get hyped about your game, is very difficult to find somoene to help you.

Rafael.-

thanks for the info:

I’d like it to be played online, games consist of up to 4 players (2 is normal).

The game:

Each player has a draw deck of 30-40 cards,
At the start of the game each player places their character card at the head of the table facing one another.
Both players shuffle their draw deck and draw 5 cards.
Each player rolls a dice the highest number is player 1.
Player 1 plays cards from their hand.

Player 2 plays cards from their hand.

War begins:
Each player rolls a dice, if it is an even number they have ‘dynamics’ if it is an odd number they don’t have ‘dynamics’
Every card has two abilities a Light and Evil ability, Light helps you, Evil helps your opponent. If your character has dynamics’s then he/she uses the light ability, if he/she does not have dynamics’s he/she must use the evil ability.

Character’s have attack and health, the character with the highest attack at the end of War deals 1 point of damage to your opponent’s character.
The first one to be out of health loses the game…

LMK if you want more info ;D

Instead of recruiting a new team, you may want to consider adapting an existing project to your game. I develop Evver Games, an open source frame work for creating web based card games. It will allow you to create AJAX web games, using plain java. It is easy to learn, and supports much of what you need already. The one big thing item you need is some ‘dice’ functionality, but that should not be hard to implement. Take a look: http://www.evver.com
