Try to look at it from the ISP’s angle - they wasted a lot of bandwidth, because someone installed some insecure software.
I would have done the exact same thing, though I would probably have contacted the owner ASAP.
Yep, Matzon is right, I don’t blame them in the least… the only annoying bit was: it was their software (they installed php 2.0.4), and they shutdown my e-mail at the same time so I couldn’t communicate with them (I’d send a mail through gmail and they would respond to the e-mail they shut down).
That’s not service, that sucks.
