Any plans of creating an ODE, or similar physic library within LWJGL?
Not that I know of… and I have a hard time justifying including it… We’re already stretching Lightweight…

Yes.
Lightweight may be starting to stretch, but game library isn’t.
How about Welterweight Java Gaming Library? 
There is already a Java wrapper for the ODE library and I’m working on a pure Java port of the ODE library. Go look in the Physics section.
