Ok my mistake.
Cool idea.
Looks good.
Don’t want to have to pay to use it/get support as there are plenty of free alternatives out there.
Also the Linux is a bit of a problem as I am going to switch to Arch Linux before the end of the year if possible.
@OP, better hurry before I release my tool. Good luck!
;D
Java game programmers apparently do not like outsiders?
oh well
Seems like everyone in here got off in a bad start. SKN3, you could’ve just posted a link to a main thread where you post update. I’d figure most people who are interested in the project will probably bookmark that thread in someway. Riven, you don’t have to be so grumpy. Yes, he is kind of advertising his things all over the place, but there’s no need to point out exactly what he did. I think he already knows that. =S With that out of the way…
The project seems interesting, though I’ve mostly moved over to making 3D games by now. I can definitely see how that program would be attractive to people (like me) who suck at making sprites and other 2D things, let alone animate them. It reminds me a lot of the animation used by some Scribblenauts and some flash games.
Yeah Riven was a bit too grumpy here but I do agree that putting this non-JavaGaming related post in WIP was not a smart idea. Miscellaneous and/or General Discussion would have been better
Anyway, good on you skn3 for trying to compete in (what seems to me) an over-saturated market. Good luck in your endeavor!
IT’S NOT JAVA!!! DON’T YOU SEE!!!
[size=40pt]IT MIGHT BE INTERESTING BUT IT’S NOT JAVA!!!
