notification dosen't work?

My notification about new posts dosen’t work. I checked twice, it’s turned on and my mail is right. Help?

It has been a perennial problem with these boards. I thought the last upgrade had fixed it, but personally just resigned myself to it not working a long time ago :(.

(is a me too post a good thing when it’s to indicate that it’s an issue for multiple people, or does it still just count as a crappy me too post ???).
