New minor features and changes

[x] added a link in the header to ‘all unread posts’ named Show unread posts since epoch.
[x] the ‘messaged edited by X at Y’ has been removed, as it made your posts look inferiour
[x] twitter shoutbox on #jgo, it shows up after 30 seconds – we’ll see how that goes
[x] flash / video support
[x] code tag syntax highlighting (fixing it!)
[x] timestamps have been replaced by “x minutes|hours|days ago” – for more than 3 days, the date and day of the week is shown, after 30 days it shows the year instead.

A couple minor suggestions:

  • When “you have no new messages.”, that message shouldn’t be bold. Right now it looks like there’s some important information/action I need to check out, but then oh no there’s not. :slight_smile:
  • I’d like the “Show unread posts since last visit” to be above the “since epoch” one. Possibly in bold or larger font too. 99% of the time it’s the first thing I click when I come to JGO.

I agree with the positioning . I am also pretty used to simply clicking on the first link (which was “since last visit” before) . Now I find myself clicking on “since epoch” by mistake.

Yes please, hitting that link on a phone touchscreen takes some precision.
On that note: possibly a mobile skin?

You can add “&wap2” to any SMF URL to get a mobile version. Eg:
http://www.java-gaming.org/index.php?action=unread;all&wap2
But I think SMF will do that automatically if you just visit with a mobile device. And damn that is one ugly mobile skin!
