New feature: wiki

You can find the Wiki in the menubar of JGO.

You can link to pages in the wiki by using a custom BBC tag:

[wiki]Permanent record[/wiki]

[wiki]Permanent record[/wiki]

[wiki=Permanent record]descriptive link to the same wiki page[/wiki]

[wiki=Permanent record]descriptive link to the same wiki page[/wiki]

At the moment the WIKI and JGO accounts are not linked yet, so register that nick!

Will they be in the future?

It depends… the storage of passwords in both databases is incompatible, so it might require a fair bit or work to get them to cooperate.

Oh oh, there is a view count with it also! Might be more visible than the tutorials section.

Is there a list of the supported tag for the wiki (to put code block for example)

This is great! The tutorials section is more or less dead.
To avoid that, I think some of us should take initiative and write some articles so it wont just die right away.

Yea well I talk about that a while ago but people don’t seems to want to write article maybe you can write some. I plan to do a couple (if/when I have the time).

One thing that didn’t help the tutorial section is putting it in a sub forum.

Just add 2 entry in the wiki, fell free to modify them.

I hope everyone likes my basic game. :o

you definitely got the basic part down pat

Any thoughts on migrating the ‘Featured Games’ section to the Wiki?
Possible? Desirable?
Simon

Not a good idea. I would suggest simply creating a page containing the name of the games in the feature section with a link to the forum page or you can create you own game page on the wiki.

If you want to put your game in first spot (to get more view) you can. No one will stop you but other people might do the same :S
