It took slightly over six months, but JGO got its moderators back.

I made everybody that was a moderator when I took over JGO, a moderator again. I wonder why you didn’t make the list. Maybe you had special obscure permissions, way back. Anyway, I added you to the bunch.
I did - I was a moderator with absolutely no powers whatsoever! People kept asking me to feature their games and I couldn’t.

Huzzah. I am a Duke. That means I will purchase more Duchies.
When I migrated the database, I had a laugh looking at all the membergroup permissions. I basically truncated the table and filled it from scratch. Jolly good times. Don’t disappoint us.
So is there any new rule, mods?

That problem has been solved. The current moderators can do absolutely nothing special, until they activate their moderator powers using yet another password. Their rule will last for three minutes. A stolen moderator password will not allow for the nastiness we have seen earlier.
