Nevermore featured on Parallax Inc's site

A description of the interface hardware for my Java3D project Nevermore was recently featured on Parallax Inc’s site, the makers of the microcontroller used in my custom-built wing interface. I got a Javelin Stamp (Java-based microcontroller!) and a programming board in exchange for the feature so now I need to come up with something new to build, suggestions?

You can find a detailed description of the project at

Hey,
That’s pretty cool.
Nice job.

Congrats! I’ve been looking at your poster two or three times when you have posted about it, wondering what in the world it was. Now I know, and it looks very interesting.

Thanks! Yes, the project was somewhat difficult to explain. Since I created the project at a film school there was someone who documented it and all the other projects done by people in the class. He will put together a documentary that will probably be the clearest description of the project that I will have since it will show the project in action.

The project taught me a lot about many practical aspects of game production and I am very pleased with how it has been received by people who have tried it, but I already feel the itch to start something new. I just signed up for a master’s project to research and develop a new quest system for a commercial MMORPG with a server platform written in Java, so that should keep me busy for a while…

I still need to come up with some idea for the electronics I got from Parallax though to have something to do in the weekends
