Hello all and welcome to my first libGDX multiplayer 2D side-scroller shooter thing!
This is a game that I have been developing for just over a month. It is planned to be a side-scroller shooter, with PvP and PvE.

Now only 20 mb!

This is what the actual game looks like at the moment…
The Character is extremely minimalist as is the level… Both will be improved very soon.
Those are two players playing in the same game over the internet! Got it working!

Thats about it for now  I will be updating this as the game is improved upon and new features become available.
If anyone wants to help me out, please post a comment below to suggest hot to improve upon this
Furthermore all feedback is appreciated and valuable, so don’t hesitate to say something!!

UPDATE :
Added client-side guns!!! Yay! They shoot and have basic animations and ammunition system. They are only client side ATM but I am working on implementing multiplayer to the guns.
Remember to check README.txt for info and instructions!

From what I can see the art style is cool  I assume the gray boxes are platforms?

Thanks for the feedback!
Yes, the gray boxes are platforms, but they are temporary as I will soon be creating a proper level.
The art style is something new i have been playing around with, I and I am quite happy with how it looks with Box2DLights

Just wanted to mention that as I am a single person developing this at the moment, it could take up to a week for a moderately playable version of this game to become available.
If anyone is interested in helping me in any way, such as by creating artwork, suggesting any improvements or additions to the game, they would be very welcome!
Stay tuned for more updates!

Stay tuned for DOWNLOAD LINK today or tomorrow!

The lighting makes it look a little confusing, perhaps you could make the shadows a little lighter?

The menu screen looks pretty sweet

Thanks for feedback!
Yesterday I finished making a new map and map loading system which is still in development but looks a whole lot better than the one seen above. I will also change the lighting and shadows like you suggested, thanks for helping me improve the game.
I also just improved the UI and the transitions, not they are animated and look a whole lot better.
Stay tuned because I will be releasing the first downloadable test version in the next few days! ;D ;D
