Same problem here as well.
I started a new thread yesterday, and today it says I only have around 5-6 new posts in total (all were in different threads)… but when I walked through to my post from yesterday, there was like 6 replies… none of which showed up as new posts…

Just a random thought here. I get the impression the feature only shows new posts since the last time you visited the site, not all posts you have not read. Is it possible you visited the site, but did not read the new posts in the thread you started? Then, later, when you came back to the site, those new posts wouldn’t show up as new since your last visit.

Quite possible, but I cant say for sure…(i bounce through here way too much for my own good)… will experiment a little later.

Yeah… and I’m surprised the community is so forgiving - not spamming the forum with threads about the excessive downtime.
A week of downtime, and not even mentioning what happened, is a sure way to shrink your community.
You get numb to it after a while

Would be really nice if JGO would be available on Google. For unknown reasons, the only indexed pages are some login errors. Have you blocked Google purposely? Or some mistake? Other search engines, such as Yahoo can find content on JGO just fine. But the problem is that most users/developers use Google, so very useful stuff here on JGO is simply not available by searching for most users
