My next step as aspiring developer

Hello again JGO.

so i have recently posted the game i have been working this past 3 months (http://www.java-gaming.org/topics/iconified/32187/view.html)

The game has some missing minor features and a few minor bugs, but its on a healthy state.

What i wanted to ask is what should be my next step, as i dont know the “Game Developer Route” and any idea would work:
-Can i add this game to my resume? how should i add it?
-Should i fix/add those minor stuff before i add to resume?
-Game is built for Desktop and Android, does it add much to build it for IOs?
-Should/Can I push the game onto Google Play?

I already have an idea for a game i want to work on (not a remake, an original idea):
-Should i just jump onto it now?

Those are my concerns and dont know a better place to ask them but this forum.
If anyone can help me.
Thanks in advance.
Sebastián

Firstly resume? No that is not what a resume is imo, this is more of a portfolio thing, in fact all your projects most likely will be unless it is a huge main project.

Fix the bugs and minor problems yes, it will increase your knowledge of debugging.

Well speaking from a marketting perspective yes but that brings me to my next point…

Can you? As long as all the graphics, sounds and any other assets you used are public domain.

Got an idea? Write it down how you would about and decide if it is worth a shot.

I really suggest finishing the game completely before you add it to your resume. Whether you put it on Google Play or whether you build it for iOS is totally up to you; just make sure you complete the game. A near-complete buggy game looks so much worse than a 100% complete game.

K, thanks!
So first just make it 100%. Then i will post the source here on JGO
