Milkshape 3D can import and export to the file format 3D Studio ASC. Is this a file format for 3dstudio max and is it compatible with the new version 6? I tried to import the ASC file of my model to 3dsmax 6 and it gave me the error of no appropriate import model found and improper file format. ASC isn’t on the list of file formats that can be imported. If someone knows how to convert my files from milkshape to a file format that is compatible with 3dsmax, please help. Thanks.
3dsmax can only export ASC, it cannot import it.
Pretty sucky considering it is their file format.
