Hi
Whats the date on the files?. There may be a newer testing version on newdawn that isn’t on the main jinput site yet that fixes it.

Now its blowing up
I tried retreating to the older version i used to use but now its not seeing any available controllers.
I recently reinstalled Linux (went up to SUSE 10). I chmod 777’d everything in /dev/input. Is there anything esle I should be doing?
Erg
Try this version.
As for the blowing up. Can you be more specific? :), there should be a bunch of debug still turned on.

FOund part of the problem. SUSE10 is setting my permissions back from 777 on the input devices. Must be a security feature somewhere.
The crash is a corrupt memory thing and the whole Vm crashes. If I can get it again Ill give you the whole output.
I did fix an issue when opening files if no devices were found I think. It was a while ago, but so was the last release
Hope the version on newdawn sorts it. If it does, and it all works, i’ll release it on jinput.dev.java.net
HTH
