"Mark as read" broken

Greetings,

Since the downtime a few days ago, I have been unable to use the “Mark as Read” function. I receive an error message asking me to log out and log in again, but that has not solved the problem. I have also manually removed the java-gaming.org cookie and logged in, but the function still won’t work.

I also have this problem, if it works for some people, could it be some sort of browser problem?

I use Firefox, heres the exact error:

It’s not that I enjoy being contrary ;D, but it works fine for me on Firefox and Konqueror.

finally i’m back from vacation and from my voluntary computer abstinence! ;D

Instead of beeing a good jgo-er and start reading that awesome amount of new posts it wolud be nice if i could just mark them as read and pretend that i know what i’m talking about on the remaining active threads :stuck_out_tongue:

I get the same error with Firefox or Safari on Windows and Mac

The [new] button seems broken for me, it just goes to the first post in the thread.

Not intending to be more painful than I already am but what does “soon” mean ? Got an idea of how much time will it take/what’s the origin of the problem ?

It if helps any; I have the same problem from the main and any forum screen with this button, but If I select the “Show unread posts since last visit.” option in the header(you may need to open the header), the “Mark as read” button in there works fine for me.

oops! I thought that this button was what was being referred to.

I fully retract my “works for me” comments.

Seriously, the lack of a working “mark as read” feature hinders my use of this site, and I suspect I’m not the only one. Can an admin fix this up? The new SGS forums look great and have this feature working; can you steal their config?

The one in the “Show unread posts since lats visit” page works.
