Hi,
I’ve been googling for the original SpaceInvaders graphics, sprites, tiles, text, etc. and audio doesn’t hurt. But I haven’t found anything.
Anyone know where I could find everything for making SpaceInvader as original as possible?
Best regards!

you could run the original game on an emulator like mame, and from there take screenshots to get the orginial grapchics.
For audio, you can download samples from the original machine here: http://www.mame.net/downsamples.html
Nah, not the graphics I want in there nor is the audio I wanted
Well, what do you want then?
These are the graphics;
I’ve taken some screenshots of that game, but I cannot rip the audio though…
Why can’t you rip audio?
Setting the recording input from the stereo mix in the audio properties should let you record anything that’s played through your audio card. You can even use the standard windows audio recorder for that.
I’m having a hard time coming up with a system for SpaceInvaders.
The problem I have now is; I have all these monsters, in a 11x5 grid, that keeps moving to right, down, left, down, right, down etc… approaching the player at the bottom.
But, if the player has killed off a whole column of monsters on the farthest right or left side, then the grid needs to move a extra column on the sides. In essence, the grid needs to shrink, or the imaginary border around all the monsters shrinks!
What is the best way to do this?
simple… if ANY monster collides with the wall, ALL monsters change direction.
