LWJGL Shop

Yes thats right - we’ve got a shop!

We will use the shop to sell LWJGL games made by you, in return we only ask for a percentage of the sales. Any sale goes directly to the LWJGL donation, which in turn is used to further the LWJGL project.

If you want your game listed on the page please contact info@lwjgl.org for further details.

Excellent! If only Monstrumo looks and feels more complete. It is realy still in dev phase. I need a feedback from you what do you think, how much work is needed to be done in order to proclaim Monstrumo “done”? Unfortunatelly, right now I don’t have much time…
EDIT: if the game will be sold, price will have to be low (uncompleteness)…
And I will agree to donate 100% of sales to LWJGL.
for now

excellent, this sounds great, i’ve been looking for a publisher for my yet unfinished game. ;D

Nice - when Kumari is done, I’ll be sure to send it to you.

Great! have to get my hands into lwgl :stuck_out_tongue:

Oooh yay! When I finish my game I’ll be sure to put it up there!

Would you guys also possibly host server apps for our games if we give you a percentage of the cuts? I’m making a really cool multiplayer game that could vastly benefit from a simple meeting room area, as of now you can only connect through IP address.

We might possibly be able to host a service or two on the box provided it’s not resource intensive. A matchmaking / chat service wouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility.

That might be very cool. I’ll look into finalizing my matchmaker chatroom thing and let you know. But before you put it on I’d like to send you the server source code because no doubt there are ways to make it cheaper (currently I make a new thread for every separate client). The code is only a hundred lines or so – no worries on wasting a lot of time. I just don’t want to make a huge resource eater by accident.

So long as it actually constrains the maximum number of threads and clients it can have to some reasonable number it should be ok.
If you want to deploy it you should make it into a servlet, and then we can put it into Tomcat and have it automatically bounced when we stop and start Tomcat. (That’s how all my hiscores and registrations stuff works)

@Matzon, princec : can a game made with Xith3D which uses LWJGL be published ?

sure - anything that uses lwjgl

Bump - you could add an affiliated Droid Assault if you like…?

Cas

done - but I never got any screenshots or description for neither the projects page nor the shop
I’ve done all the hard work now though…

Oh, just deep link / copy & paste straight off of Puppygames.
