Your run-windows.exe file is pointing to game.jar by the way!
Yes, then?
well, the jar file is named hexagion.jar.
Soo it gives the error:
Error: Unable to access jarfile pathToFile/game.jar
;D that’s what happened when you got less sleep and no windows to test. Thanks!

Ugh, I procrastinated all day yesterday by watching Doctor Who and ended up not being able to finish
It plays, but it’s not right. No horizontal scrolling or anything
I left 1 hour before it started. :’(
I got back 3 hours after the jam ended. :’(
I find the theme was Minimalism. :cranky:
I’m glad I had an excuse no to compete. :-\
So we finished our jam entry 1 hour before the deadline…

You are a dot in a shifting and changing labyrinth which pulsates colorfully to the music.
Your aim is to reach the goal tile marked with a different color and a sparkling orb.
Try not go get pushed out of the labyrinth (or you lose).

A desktop version is available on the ludum dare page.
I hope you like it (we are already addicted to it XD).
Some gameplay footage from the last hours of development:
Timelapses are in the working
Well I made something in the end using Java 2d which is game-y for the Jam:

Is it hard to port to libgdx and make an android port?
From all the good responses to my game so far, almost all comments say “great concept”, soon I may actually add more features to the game.
Probably add particle effects to the jetpack (not sure what else other then jetpack could do with particles).
Redo the Tone Tiles sound, so it is a bit easier to differentiate the sounds.
Multi Tone doors.
Make the player spawn closer to the door in each level, some did not like the repetitiveness of having to move to the door, then move all the way back through the level to find the tone (later levels, you do spawn near a door)
