cas came into the #lwjgl chan on irc.freenode.net yesterday and said that the breakout game can be found here (Since the chan log is publicly available, I figured it doesn’t matter if the url is posted here as well):

There’s a MacOS version as well, but sadly no linux version. It doesn’t run with wine either, so don’t hit me if it doesn’t work for you.
The competitors versions should be available generally soon as well. The MacOS version btw is at http://www.puppygames.net/downloads/Breakout_MacOSX.zip and the source code is at http://www.puppygames.net/downloads/Breakout.zip
