LodeScape RPG

How does one deploy thy rod?

How are you making the HUD?

Try not to glitch out of the map like that. I updated the download to fix that. Then go to the fishing area (spot with sand) and hold b to fish.

Which part specifically?

Thanks, a controls menu would be nice prior to showing the games rendering

Although I keep getting stuck on bushes / in front of the shop where you get your rod.
Besides that I like it >='D

Excellent lighting system BTW

What version of OpenGL is it using?

Thanks, do you get stuck when you sprint? Because i disabled that sprinting option, I only had it to make things easier when testing.

2.0. The cause of that black was the texture being too big, but I think that I just fixed that.

Yeah it’s only when I sprint

Questions:
When will a saving/loading system be implemented?
How is the map loaded? (And was the map hand-coded?)

Suggestions:
A Level interface would be nice, rather than just HP/XP.
Adding skilling animations for up/down directions.
Tone down the maximum lamp brightness a pinch

Thats why I updated to remove sprinting. Saving / loading may be the next item on my list. I have finals this week and next week so I am not too sure. Most likely I will start this week. What do you mean by level interface? Map is one texture (unfortunately tile maps were giving me loads of trouble, so I killed that idea and did it like this). Animations for up and down I am just confused on how to actually make them look, so I have stalled on that. Any suggestions for that are welcome. I think the lights look so bright because I tested it with my screens brightness down passed what normal people use their monitors brightness at. Thanks for the feedback

Anytime mate.

Like a interface that shows your levels, like mining/fishing etc and possibly the exp / exp till level?

I was thinking just throw the skilling item in the right hand while the character’s facing up, and in the left hand (facing you) while the character’s facing down?

Anyways  real nice job mate.

By HUD I mean the weapon selection boxes.

Added that to trello https://trello.com/board/mc2d/518466dc2ca2121279006100. Also would the tool still be facing to the side while looking up? Is that what your suggesting?

Oh the weapon selection boxes were made in photoshop. Pretty simple to make.
