List of websites to post user videos please?

Hi,

I’ve made some Incredibuilder videos and I posted them on YouTube and gametrailers and I’d like to post them on more similar websites. Please tell me the ones I don’t already know.

One issue with youtube and gametrailers is visibility. On youtube, your videos are lost in the ocean because there’s no such “newest videos” section. On gametrailers, there’s that section but there’re so much video posts that yours stay visible for 2 to 4 hours maximum since people have to browse the older pages after that and generally people won’t browse passed the second page. That video post rate would also exists on youtube I guess and would be even worse.

Any other ideas/advices are welcome as well.

Vimeo doesn’t want gameplay videos. WIP/tech stuff, however, is fine.

IIRC it’s only user created gameplay videos Vimeo don’t like - they were getting flooded with walk-throughs and speed-runs. If you’re the actual author of the game then you’re fine.

How about we just use a common tag for the videos on YouTube? Just put JGO in as one of the tags!

Well, JGO does not give you a URL and only those who frequent here would know it. JGO in Google does not send you here in the first page of links. However, most of the works that would be posted tend to originate from here. At least we in this community, would have an easy way to identify all of the videos from our friends here :slight_smile:

HMMM…JGO is probably not the right tag. How about JGOGames? JGO brings up a ton of MLM crap on YouTube :slight_smile:
