LibGDX - Object becomes 'smudged' once armature and animation is added

I have created a little character in Blender as a part of my training on 3D game development, and once I’ve added in armature and an animation for the character to walk(in Blender of course), the object appears to have a big piece of it stretching from it’s origin to the center of my scene.

In this video, I first show the character, that has no armature and no animation, and that has been saved as a FBX file and then converted to a G3DB file, loaded into my scene. Then, I show the same character(was from the same Blender file) but with armature and animation(the character walking, which works fine), also saved as a FBX file and then converted to a G3DB file, loaded into my scene.

How can I solve this issue?
