Too bad we don’t make anything off it. Not to be greedy, but even a tiny bit of compensation for something proven useful by so many would be reasonable. Oh well, generating income wasn’t the goal from the start. It is nice to know that millions of people have used our software.
I had tons of time at some point in my life (earlier this year) and started a port to C++ with iOS back-end.
Now I’ve got the Raspberry PI, I am dreaming of making the glue code for this back-end too.
Now clearly I don’t have any more time and the project is temporary halted…hopefully not for long.
Libgdx is the best thing ever. I have no more time partly because of it…eg. a job.
Hey, I read your book on Android games dev a few months ago on my kindle. Good stuff. Especially with the spacial hash grid for narrowing collision checks - I use that concept in my 3D PC game now. I learned heaps about game programming in general.
