Hello you guys,
To my great surprise I found that AWT ignores the SHIFT-Symbol keystroke combination, for example, keyCode of SHIFT-= is 61(’=’) but not 43(’+’) as expected.
Use getKeyChar(), it returns the ‘effective’ key.
getKeyCode() returnes the code of the key, which is not affected by control keys like shift/alt/control
