We are developing a game with lwjgl library on linux-debian-libranet OS.

We have install java webstart and run normally with basic games. It has an error when execute an jnlp of javagaming-lwjgl.

The computer has jre1.4.2 self extracting file installed. SiS630/730 motherboard can be the cause.

Lwjgl is part of jre environment or need add the library?

Thank’s

you need tyo add it

Take a look at my jnlp file here - you need to specify the lwjgl.jar and lwjgl- jars, exactly as found in that jnlp, and it should work fine. Don’t forget to sign everything!

And don’t forget that bit at the end of the jnlp where I set the system property java.library.path=. which is crucially important!!

Coo, go on then, why did you need to do that?

Your libs are in your jars presumably so they’re meant to available automagically.

Kev

You know, I’m not sure whether it’s needed any more  I think it was something to do with OpenAL dynamic library loading.

I’m the guilty of a lot of errors. Speaking, forum using and linuxing ;D. Sorry i’m new user at all, i’m the designer with work to do by java/lwjgl/linux, with java developer partner. But my work is prepare the OS for the machine too. And i have the same problem yet. All this week finding solution… nothing ???

Space invaders in www.cokeandcode.com run in mode JOGL, and JAVA2D, but LWJGL nooo. JOGL is too low.

Cas, i played at alienflux on Windows and i didn’t can end the game because it’s very good entertainment. Very good work.

Finally i bought nvidia geforce fx 5200 128mb graphic card, i was thinking too fast, i read now the message of the older graphic card of ebay for 5$ with no problems. But now the XWindow don’t run yet. I’m fighting with the computer. I hope give you good news soon

Thank’s for all
