JSyn a treasure for sound synthesis

This is amazing for a rookie like me. Check out this java library for making synthetic sounds (i called it procedural sounds;) ).

The great thing about it is that it’s all in java. :slight_smile:

It seams that sound synthesis is the way to go for small devices like mobile phones and the like.

I’m afraid it isn’t; it uses some C too. I think it would be even cooler when it was all java.

Should be free! its just a wraper of PortAudio. With some sound dsp_like addons. Bring back the idea of SuperColider to Java!- James now works at Apple making CoreAudio and that works in Java also- very cool. shame only on a Mac.
