JSR-231 and mailinglists

Hi everyone
In this thread: http://192.18.37.44/forums/index.php?topic=1596.15 ,Ken Russell Wrote:
Work is already underway in the JSR-231 branch of the JOGL source tree; feel free to subscribe to the cvs at jogl.dev.java.net mailing list to receive automatic updates on the progress of that work.

And later on:
you need to be logged in and probably an Observer of the project before you can subscribe to the mailing lists.
I am both logged in and an Observer but when I try the “mailing list”-link in the left frame it just says: “There are no mailing lists for this project”.
So does anyone know how to subscribe to these lists? Am I doing something wrong?

same here

maybe we don’t understand well cause same here

thx for help

I have no problems subscribing to the jogl mailing list. You need to have a user and log in on dev.java.net, since it not related to javagming.org …or so it seems

EDIT: I shouldn’t have taken that last cup of coffee. I CAN’T subscribe to the jogl mailing list !! I miraculously picked jinput and my caffeine intense mind believed it to be jogl :-[ You obviously need ûber powers to subscribe to the jogl list

Yes, I am logged in on dev.java.net and observer to the jogl-project, but I can not subscribe to the mailinglist, Maybe there is some other role that one must have? Tomas, do you have the role Observer or something else?

Sorry about all the confusion. It looks like there was a bug in the permissions for the mailing lists so they were only accessible to Developers. This seems to be fixed so please try again and post if you’re still having problems.

Still the same thing :-((

Sorry, you’re right. I’ve filed a P1 bug against java.net because this appears to be a bug in their software. I’ll make sure this gets fixed one way or the other in the next day or two.

I’ve worked around this problem by making the JOGL mailing lists non-private. The JSR-231 code checkin changes go to the cvs mailing list so if you’d like to see these updates please subscribe to that mailing list.

Ah, thank you!, it works for me now
