I have not been able to find any release date information for when JOGL 2 will be released as stable. I’ve seen a lot of recent activity with the movement of it to the trunk and other changes, but is there any anticipated ballpark release date in sight?
Also, if I wanted to start using JOGL 2 for my development is the magic certificate + webstart info in place so I can utilize it in my applets with u10+ without getting a “trust” confirmation?
Is there no information available about this?
I want to know if I can start migrating to JOGL 2 or if it’s going to be another six months before it’s released…
I dont really know about JOGL 2.0, but on the IE default settings even trusted-signed stuff prompt an alert to run.
I’m talking about Sun’s magic certificate for 1.6u10+ that doesn’t ask for trust in Applets.

Yes, which is honestly the only reason I’m using JOGL instead of LWJGL. 
be aware that most people will still get a security browser popup
Yes, but going forward that number should diminish as more and more people update to 1.6u10+.
