The big game developers have been trying to solve this problem for years.
The problem often comes up with, “who is in charge” when everyone wants to be in charge.
Unless you are playing with a dedicated developed team of friends. How do you get people to listen to the “guy in charge”
Not to discourage you, as I really hope you can, and with a small game like this. It honestly shouldn’t be too hard as its most likely not random masses. Most people playing it would most likely want to work together to win.
TF2 originally had an “overseer” who could see the whole map and suggest where people to go, and even do some base building and other stuff. They scraped it because too much relied on that 1 person, and people would constantly complain about who was in it or not in it.
Left4Dead only has 4 people on your team, and at least 50% of random games have people wanting to do their own thing, at least during the first 6 months of the release. Its a lot better now as people have generally gotten a lil bit better as a whole. If you have a great team, then its incredible how much you can achieve as a well oiled machine.
