I would like to share this with everyone 
I just had a lecture with Joe Armstrong (one of the authors of Erlang etc) and I have this URL to his thesis he will be defending next friday about distributed systems in presence of software errors.
I must say his lecture was one of the most inspiring I have ever been to and I recommend you to take a look at this thesis.
