JJJJJJ

Not a lot of information I can put out about this yet.
It’s not a clone of VVVVVV. It’s just my own version of it, in my own eyes. I call it JJJJJJ.
First 3 is for Java, next 3 is for Jeviny.

It uses a similar engine to what I use for G581G, just with minimal code.

Best name for any game ever! Can I test it?

Whenever I can get a decent, some-what playable build out.
I have high standards for what I call “playable”.

Welp, big update. Prepare for screenshot spam.

The project’s now on Github, which is great.

Last night I started a ton of UI stuff, here are a few screenshots of what I’ve done:

Death Screen (Background fades from red to black):

Pause Menu:

The 3 televisions here are basically trinkets in a way. They are kind of like crew members in the actual game, just with less value.

The Title Screen:

There’s a random gag under the logo. It’s kind of like the yellow text on the Minecraft title screen.

Anyways, with the GUI stuff out of the way, here’s what one of the levels looks like:

I’m making some progress!

Nice! Good Luck.

Neat! I’m looking forward to seeing what things you’ll do with this mechanic. Terry Cavanagh did a good job of adding in numerous different puzzles all revolving around the mechanic of gravity. I can’t imagine what is left. You show me!

Good luck.
